Vietnam Japan University (VJU) is a new university model in Vietnam, the seventh member university under Vietnam National University-Hanoi (VNU), envisaged to become an internationally recognized university, and a symbol of the close and fruitful cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

Required duties and responsibilities
Supporting direct supervisors in program development tasks, which include:
- Conducting surveys on social needs for training programs.
- Formulating strategies and plans for the development of the University’s academic programs
- Providing guidance, advice, and management for the adjustment of training programs in accordance with the University’s overall plan.
- Coordinating the annual review of the training programs and course syllabus.
- Developing and submitting plans for approval by the Rector, including decisions on establishing program development teams and organizing the appraisal of proposals for new academic programs.
- Organizing the evaluation and approval of academic programs in accordance with current regulations.
- Focal point to work with Faculties/Programs to develop domestic and international joint/collaborative training programs.
- Other duties as assigned by the Rectorate Board and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (priority given to candidates with a degree in Educational Management or graduation in developed countries).
- Work experience: Minimum 1 year of working experience in a higher education institution. Working experience in a Japanese environment will be considered an advantage.
- Foreign language: Be fluent in spoken and written English (IELTS 5.5+ or equivalent).
- Preferred skills or capacities:
– Understanding of training programs, quality assessment of educational institutions, and program assessment.
– Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
– A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
– Proficient in using computers and basic office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).
– Withstand pressure, creative, quick-witted, and have good thinking.

– Honest, hard-working, meticulous, careful, highly responsible in work; ability to organize, arrange work and time.

Successful candidate will be offered an attractive remuneration package comprising of:
- Competitive monthly salary;
- Monthly meal allowances: 700,000 VND;
- Performance-based additional pay by VJU’s regulation
