VJU at 4th NIES International Forum on Sustainable Future in Asia

VJU students has recently come and shared their opinions varying from agriculture, climate change, ecosystem, to public health, solid waste, etc.
Nguyen Thi Thuong
Nguyen Thi Thuong, a student of Master’s Program in Environmental Engineering presented her poster about phosphorus removal in order to take into consideration about the essential role of this action towards protecting water body from eutrophication.
The objectives of her poster about "Screening filter materials for enhancing phosphorus removal from wastewater in constructed wetlands” is analyzing potential filter materials for being used as substrate CWs.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc
Nguyen Thi Ngoc, an alumnus of Master’s Program in Environmental Engineering, who has successfully been awarded a fully-funded scholarship for Post-Graduate Program in Kyoto University, was with her poster at the forum.
Her poster presented about her research in Nam Son solid waste treatment complex in Soc Son district, Hanoi to analyze the importance of existing form of heavy metals in landfill leachate and its association with organic matter.

NIES International Forum on Sustainable Future in Asia is annually held to encourage young researchers from all over the world raise their voice about sustainability including: Agriculture, Climate Change, Ecosystem, Energy, Public Health, Solid Waste, Urban and rural Development, Water, etc.
The 4th International Forum on Sustainable Future in Asia held from January 23-24, 2019 at Pan Pacific Hanoi, jointly organized by Vietnam-Japan University, the University of Tokyo, Integrated Research System for Sustainability Science, and AIT Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific.
