On its pathway of development, Vietnam is facing many challenges. Firstly, the development process leads to the foreseen insecurity of energy and also resulted in environmental degradation and negative impacts of climate change. Adding to those context, contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nation (SDGs) is the world most important trend. Due to the fast urbanization together with the delay in infrastructure development, the environmental pollution and safe water shortage in Vietnam are also becoming more serious.
